Hi! My name is Sue, and I use the pronouns she/her/hers.
I’m a Los Angeles-based storyboard artist originally from Arlington, Virginia, with stops in New York City, São Paulo, and New Orleans in between.
Ever since I was a kid drawing my own stories about a mermaid and her tiny pumpkin, visual storytelling has been my favorite art form. I love the genuine emotion found at the core of all genres, but I’m a sucker for a mockumentary.
Outside of animation, I love plants, gardening, reading, crafts of most kinds, running, and I also train capoeira, an Afro-Brazilian martial art. I’m passionate about education, equity, and the magic that comes from truly seeing one another across our similarities and differences.
